BOOKING
Q: What age do I have to be to hire a van from you?
A: We can hire to anyone aged between 21 and 70.
Q: Is it cheaper to hire a van for longer?
A: Yes, the longer you hire for the cheaper your daily rate will be - contact us for an exact quote.
Q: Can I book for just one day at the weekend?
A: Yes, we can arrange for you to pick up a van on Saturday or Sunday morning for a small surcharge.
Q: I've got points on my license, can I still hire a van?
A: Yes, we can cater for people who have unfortunately collected a few points or had an accident.
Q: Do the vans have SatNav?
A: If you would like SatNav in the van, we have TomTom available for hire for an additional charge. Ask at the time of booking for it to be included in your quote.
CONTINENTAL HIRE
Q: Where can I take your vans?
A: Anywhere within the EU and Scandinavia.
Q: What's the best van to take on the ferry?
A: Our long wheel base (lwb) vans are high-cube, low-floor vans and are the maximum size permissible on most cross-channel ferries before hitting freight tariff rates, so you are still charged at car rate.
Q: Do I have to pay more for insurance or breakdown cover in Europe?
A: When you contact us for a quote for European hire we will give you a quote inclusive of your European insurance and breakdown cover.
Q: Does your SatNav cover Europe?
A: Our TomTom covers Western Europe including all the following countries: AD, AT, BE, CH, CZ, DE, DK, EE, ES, FI, FR, GI, HR, HU, IE, IT, LI, LT, LU, LV, MC, NL, NO, PL, PT, SE, SI, SK, SM, UK, VA.
BREAKDOWN
Q: What happens if the van breaks down?
A: We have agreements with major organisations throughout Europe, on standby to meet your needs. We'll give you a dedicated number to ring if you are unfortunate enough to require these sevices.
Q: Is there any extra charge for breakdown cover?
A: No, it's included in your quote.
PICKING UP & RETURNING
Q: What do I need to bring when I come to pick up my van?
A: You need to bring your driving license and a second form of ID showing your address, such as a utility bill. If you have a new photocard license, please bring both the photocard and the paper counterpart. For european trips, your passport is also required.
Q: What types of payment do you take?
A: We take cash, cheque or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Delta, Electron, Maestro & Solo)
Q: What is 24hr drop off?
A: To make things flexible for you, you can return your van outside office hours - just park the van where you picked it up from and pop the keys through the door.
Q: How can I find you?
A: Click here to go to our directions page and bring up maps to help you find us. You can also enter your postcode to get full directions to us from Google.

Q: Do you have any vehicles with towbars?
A: Yes, we can provide a vehicle with a towbar for a small surcharge.
